Club Méditerranée, best known worldwide as Club Med, is the original all-inclusive, holiday resort where guests receive lodging, all meals, soft drinks, use of facilities, sports activities, games, and shows in one, single package. Originally founded as a resort for singles and young couples in 1950, Club Med now offers Family Resort villages complete with children's Clubs and activities for teenagers - offering relaxation and leisure activities, and welcoming families, couples and friends; Resorts for Everyone welcoming couples, families and friends but with no Club facilities for children and teenagers; and Adult Only villages for those 18 years and over offering entertainment, relaxation, sports and leisure activities to friends, singles or couples.
